By downloading or using Cairn, you agree to these terms. Cairn is operated by INFO WEB s.r.o., Czech Republic.

Use of the app

Cairn is licensed to you, not sold. You may use Cairn for personal journaling and productivity purposes. You may not reverse-engineer, distribute, or use Cairn commercially without written permission.

Subscriptions

Cairn offers auto-renewable subscriptions (Core at $3.99/month and Pro at $7.99/month, with annual options). Subscriptions are processed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID Account Settings.

The 7-day free trial is available once per Apple ID per subscription group. After trial expiry without subscription, access is limited to 3 journal entries per week.

Your content

Your journal entries, voice recordings, and all content you create in Cairn remain yours. We claim no ownership or licence over your content. We do not access your content stored on-device.

HealthKit

Cairn accesses HealthKit data only with your explicit permission. We will not use HealthKit data for advertising, selling to third parties, or any purpose other than providing the biometric context features described in the app and Privacy Policy.

Disclaimer of warranties

Cairn is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we are not liable for any loss of data. Always maintain your own backups of important journal content.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Czech and EU law, INFO-WEB s.r.o.'s total liability for any claim arising from your use of Cairn is limited to the amount you paid for Cairn in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the Czech Republic, without prejudice to your statutory consumer rights under EU law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will notify you in-app at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
